Livestock Guard Dogs

At times, Lazy B has working livestock guard dogs for sale. They are a cross between a Great Pyrenees & Anatonain Shepherd and are bred to take care of predators.

Everyone needs a guard dog.

You need to understand your predator problem. All predators aren't killers – there are certain individuals that do the killing. A pack will pull one or more dogs off so the killer can come in and do its job. There is power in numbers! You need one dog to stay with the flock, and you need more dogs to chase the pack. Think about it: one dog against a half dozen predators will not do a good job.

One sheep or one hundred, one dog isn't enough.

This is true whether you buy guard dogs from me or someone else. I always recommend 2 or more guard dogs to protect your livestock. Lazy B tries to keep 6 or more all times.
